She draws on her extensive knowledge in business operations as a previous business owner.

For over 38 years, Cheryl has worked as a bookkeeper and is knowledgeable in all facets of bookkeeping. Cheryl joined the Walshs team in 2017. As the manager of the bookkeeping team she supervises accounting and bookkeeping tasks, BAS and IAS, superannuation, Workcover and compliance for a variety of clients and entities.
Cheryl specialises in on-boarding new clients and seeing them through from initial set up to end of year processing and communicating along the way with one-on-one training and support. Her passion is to see her clients grow and achieve their goals and dreams and assisting them along the way.
Cheryl has a Certificate IV in Financial Services and is a registered BAS agent and a member of the Australian Bookkeepers Association.

In his spare time, you will find Daniel spending time with his wife and two young children, running or doing a spot of fishing with his son Henry.

Hugh is known for collaborating closely with his clients, working together through every step of their business development.
Prior to joining Walshs, Hugh worked with various companies in Australia and abroad including PwC, Suncorp and CS Energy, he is a Director and Board member of Aussie Kidz Charity Ltd, and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Simon Farmer

Simon Farmer has been a dedicated Financial Adviser since 2001 and has served as the Managing Director and founding partner of Walshs Financial Planning since 2006. In his role, Simon oversees the firm’s most senior financial planning clients, leveraging his thorough understanding of all investment asset classes, superannuation, personal insurances, family trusts, and business entities.
Simon is a recognised speaker on financial matters, frequently presenting for the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and various other medical associations. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Business, an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Additionally, Simon is an SMSF accredited adviser and has earned a Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking.

Sophie Ditchburn

Stewart McLeod

Stewart fully evaluates the situation, the needs and requirements along with the clients’ priorities to formulate an appropriate action plan not only short term but also long term. Tim McAllister

Tim McAllister joined Walshs as an Investment Analyst in 2020 and has since become an integral member of the financial planning team. He contributes valuable research and analysis to the Walshs Investment Committee while also actively reviewing client portfolios.

Tim Reece

Tim first joined Walshs in 2003 as a Graduate Accountant. In 2007 he left for the UK, where he gained extensive experience with large multi-national businesses that included the likes of Tate & Lyle Sugar, and IMG.
He has worked with different business sizes across varied industries, most recently focusing on the Property and Construction industries. Tim has returned to Walshs to focus on his sweet spot of helping clients in the SME space. His client centric and commercial approach allows him to communicate appropriate action plans clearly and facilitate development of future strategic goals.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting, Diploma of Financial Planning and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.
Tom Gane

Toni Golik

Toni has worked in finance and accounting across various industries for more than 20 years. She has been working in public and private practice for over two years and currently holds a Certificate IV in Accounting. Toni is well versed across multiple commercial accounting software platforms in the marketplace as well as being certified in Xero, QuickBooks and MYOB Essentials. She enjoys specialising in accounts payable and auditing and is seeking out ways to improve the user interface. In her free time Toni loves to paint and also has a skipper’s license.
Trish Cumming

Tyson Rech

Waiata Russell

William Ozdowski

Will joined the wealth health team in January 2024. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Advanced Business (honours) at UQ.
