Aleena Shaju is a Junior Accountant at Walshs, focusing on preparing tax returns while delivering a high level of client service. With a Master of Accounting and Certified Management Accounting qualification attained in the U.S., Aleena brings strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to supporting clients with accurate and timely tax solutions.

Ayden joined the Walshs Wealth Health team in July 2024. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce at UQ with a duel major in Accounting and Finance.

Ayden is focused on delivering exceptional and personalised services tailored to each client’s needs, while strengthening his accounting and financial skills.

Dev is in his Penultimate year studying a Bachelor’s of Advanced Business at UQ, majoring in Accounting and Finance. He previously worked as Practice manager at a dental clinic where he supported operations, financial reporting, and worked closely with clinicians, owners and advisors. This experience, combined with his study, has shaped his interest in accounting and business advisory – particularly in the medical sector. 

Gemma is an undergraduate accountant at Walshs, working within the Wealth Health team. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Advanced Business at the University of Queensland, majoring in Accounting and Business Analytics. Gemma is committed to delivering high-quality tax and accounting services through strong attention to detail and analytical skills, while remaining focused on building professional client relationships.

Joshua is completing a Bachelor of Business with a major in Accounting at QUT, developing a strong foundation in financial reporting, analysis, and business strategy. His professional background includes business‑to‑business sales and experience supporting clinical equipment loan services within a major hospital environment, where he gained valuable exposure to operational processes, stakeholder coordination, and service delivery in a high‑demand setting.

Kang started at Walshs in July 2024 as a graduate accountant in the Wealth Health Team.

Kang finished her Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at QUT in July 2024. Kang looks forward to delivering exceptional client service as an Accountant at Walshs and to commence her studies to become a Charted Accountant.

Lucy joined Walshs in 2021 as Matt Gellweiler’s Personal Assistant. She has since become a key part of our Wealth Health Division as Team Leader and also works closely with our General Manager, Annabelle Clare, as Operations Assistant. With a strong focus on ensuring high client standards, Lucy is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and support to both clients and the team.

Merin joined Walshs in October 2025 as a Junior Accountant within the Wealth Health team, where she supports tax compliance, client advisory, and a range of financial processes. She recently completed a Master of Business in Professional Accounting at Queensland University of Technology. Merin is a highly driven professional committed to continuous learning and development, with a strong focus on refining her expertise and helping clients achieve their financial objectives.

Natalia is a junior accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce, holding a double major in Accounting and Finance from the University of Queensland. Her work, within the wealth health team, focuses on the preparation of tax returns, where she demonstrates strong attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy, and an understanding of individual client requirements. She prioritizes building professional relationships and consistently aims to deliver high‑quality outcomes that support both client objectives and the firm’s standards.

Neha is a Master of Professional Accounting graduate, qualified in 2025, with experience in taxation support and professional services environments. She provides assistance with tax return processing, compliance requirements, and general accounting support, maintaining a strong emphasis on accuracy and reliability. Neha is committed to delivering clear, dependable support and fostering trusted client relationships.

Sophia is an Undergraduate Accountant at Walshs and is currently completing her final semester at QUT. Prior to joining the team, she worked in hospitality, gaining strong customer service and multitasking experience. Sophia is fluent in two additional languages besides English and is currently learning Korean, reflecting her enthusiasm for ongoing personal and professional development.

Tilly joined Walshs in 2023, bringing with her a strong background in customer service, with roles that emphasised client outcomes and effective communication. As Personal Assistant to Tyson Rech and Client Service Coordinator to Arin Doig, she is committed to leveraging her skills to deliver exceptional service and a seamless experience for Walshs’ clients.

Waiata started at Walshs early August of 2024 and joined the Wealth Health Team as a Client Service Co-Ordinator.

She has previously worked in customer service which has given her great communication and people skills as well as an outgoing personality which she will bring to the workplace.

Waiata is looking forward to gaining skills in a professional work environment and meeting new people.

Will has recently joined Walshs as a part of our Wealth Health team and is driven by a genuine passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Business Management from The University of Queensland, with majors in Finance, Accounting, and Economics. Will is also a provisional member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
