Annabelle joined the administration team at Walshs in 2016 and has since worked in client services; personal assistant roles to Hugh Walsh and Stewart McLeod; as well as leading the administration team. Annabelle moved into the Practice Management role in 2019 where she works with the partners in facets of people and operations management. She draws on her extensive knowledge in business operations as a previous business owner.

Charlie has a background in the childcare industry and has brought her bubbly, caring and people focused personality to the Walshs team. Charlie enjoys working at the front of the business, welcoming our clients and has learned quickly about the financial services industry where she now assists the Walshs team in various administrative and marketing tasks.
Cheryl Jones
For over 38 years, Cheryl has worked as a bookkeeper and is knowledgeable in all facets of bookkeeping. Cheryl joined the Walshs team in 2017. As the manager of the bookkeeping team she supervises accounting and bookkeeping tasks, BAS and IAS, superannuation, Workcover and compliance for a variety of clients and entities.
Cheryl specialises in on-boarding new clients and seeing them through from initial set up to end of year processing and communicating along the way with one-on-one training and support. Her passion is to see her clients grow and achieve their goals and dreams and assisting them along the way.
Cheryl has a Certificate IV in Financial Services and is a registered BAS agent and a member of the Australian Bookkeepers Association.
Christian Carbone
Joining Walshs in 2023, Christian comes from a background as a financial planning assistant, where he handled the preparation of comprehensive financial planning advice support documentation and implemented insurance and investment advice
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business (Finance) and IT (Information Systems) and aims to use his extensive advice implementation experience to benefit Walshs clients.

Daniel is a Financial Adviser at Walshs, having worked in the industry since 2015. He specialises in the financial planning needs of new and existing junior doctor clients to Walshs. Daniel provides advice on asset structuring and progression, as well as individualised financial advice to meet his clients’ objectives such as buying property, tailored personal insurance advice, superannuation, and investment strategies.
Daniel holds a Master of Financial Planning Degree, and a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking.

Jin Sung Ahn
Jin-Sung joined Walshs in 2023 where he will focus on tax and accounting services for our Private Practice clients. He spent over two years as an accountant working in a role where he looked after small trading businesses such as cafes, restaurants and other small traders.
Jin-Sung graduated with a Master of Accounting from the University of Tasmania and plans to become a CA very soon whilst. In the meantime he looks forward to working with Walshs clients and gaining further expertise in tax and accounting services.

Simon Farmer has been a Financial Adviser since 2001 and the Managing Director and founding partner of Walshs Financial Planning since 2006.
Simon manages Walshs most senior financial planning clients and has a thorough understanding of all investment asset classes, superannuation, personal insurances and family trusts and business entities.
Simon is a regular speaker on financial matters for the Royal Australian College of Surgeons as well as various other medical associations. Tim Reece
Tim first joined Walshs in 2003 as a Graduate Accountant. In 2007 he left for the UK, where he gained extensive experience with large multi-national businesses that included the likes of Tate & Lyle Sugar, and IMG.
He has worked with different business sizes across varied industries, most recently focusing on the Property and Construction industries. Tim has returned to Walshs to focus on his sweet spot of helping clients in the SME space. His client centric and commercial approach allows him to communicate appropriate action plans clearly and facilitate development of future strategic goals.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting, Diploma of Financial Planning and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.
Toni Golik
for more than 20 years. She has been working in public and private practice for over two years and currently holds a Certificate IV in Accounting. Toni is well versed across multiple commercial accounting software platforms in the marketplace as well as being certified in Xero, QuickBooks and MYOB Essentials. She enjoys specialising in accounts payable and auditing and is seeking out ways to improve the user interface. In her free time Toni loves to paint and also has a skipper’s license.

Trish is an experienced business owner, having operated her own business supporting women in the birthing world since 2006. In 2018, Trish joined Walshs as an administrator in the accounts department, to seek out opportunities for additional knowledge and stimulation. Enjoying her role with Walshs, she became a permanent and valued member of the Walshs Team in 2020.
Tyson Rech
Tyson has been working with Walshs since 2019 spending the first two years specialising in taxation for medical professionals. He has since transitioned to the financial planning division as a Financial Adviser. Tyson is passionate about delivering great results for his clients and enjoys opportunities to connect with clients to drive great outcomes.
Tyson holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in accounting and finance, a Bachelor of Business Management, majoring in marketing and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning.

William, preferred to be called Will, joined with Walshs in 2024.
Will joined the wealth health team in January 2024. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Advanced Business (honours) at UQ.
As a committed undergraduate accountant, Will is dedicated to delivering the
utmost client satisfaction in accounting services, as well as developing as an accountant and building his experience.
Will looks forward to becoming a Chartered Accountant in the future as well as completing his degree at university.
